Getting started
Three steps to the first mission.

Create your family account
A parent or guardian signs up. Try a free mission first, and pick a plan when you're ready.

Add a profile for each child
Pick a preset character, their age group (5–7, 8–11 or 12–16) and a 4-digit PIN. No child email or real name needed.

They play, you follow along
Your child plays comic missions with their sidekick. You see missions, new words and a weekly question to ask at dinner.

A short quiz to finish the mission. Up to three stars, and every star earns XP.

CROODI Lab
After the third mission, a hands-on lab ends the level. The sidekick earns a new part and a big XP reward.

Finished missions collect into their own comic book to reread with you.

Common questions
What does a mission look like?
Each mission is a short comic where your child and their robot sidekick meet one AI idea. Your child makes a choice on every page, learns one new word, then plays a quick game and a Boss quiz for up to three stars. Every level ends with a CROODI Lab where they build and test a tiny AI model by hand.
Does my child talk to an AI?
No. Every mission, game and quiz is written and checked in advance, and answers are scored by fixed rules. There is no chat box and no AI is called while your child plays.
Who creates the account?
Only a parent or guardian registers and agrees to our Terms and Privacy Policy. Children never sign up on their own.
Can we try CROODI for free?
Yes. Play free sample missions at /trial with no account. To unlock every mission and save progress, subscribe to a plan.
Where do I manage billing?
After sign-in, open Family Hub → Billing. If checkout succeeded but your plan hasn't appeared, use Sync payment from Stripe when shown, or refresh the page.
What is the default parent PIN?
New parent accounts use 0000 until you change it in Manage Profiles. Keep it private — it protects billing and family settings.
Can each child use dark mode?
Yes. Appearance is saved per learner profile and restores automatically when they pick their profile at sign-in.
Can my child listen to lessons instead of only reading?
Yes. Signed-in learners can tap Listen on each lesson page and quiz question. The app reads our fixed mission text aloud using your device's browser voices — with pause, resume, rewind, and speed controls. Parents can choose a reading voice per child in Manage profiles. We do not record your child's voice.
Does Listen work on the free missions?
Yes, where your browser supports read-aloud. Free missions do not save progress, but Listen is available on supported devices.
